Statement contents stay on your device

PDF files, transaction descriptions, account numbers, balances and extracted records are processed in browser memory. We do not upload them to Firebase Storage or save them in Firestore. We do not use external AI services to interpret statements.

Account and usage information

When Firebase is connected, Firebase Authentication handles your email, identity provider and authentication credentials. Firestore stores your plan, account creation timestamp, page usage counters and usage reservations. Guest access uses an anonymous Firebase identity.

To limit abuse, the server stores a salted hash of your network address with daily counters and a two-day expiration. The raw address is used for this calculation and may also appear in infrastructure access logs; it is not written to the application database. Usage receipts have a 35-day expiration. Firestore expiration policies automatically remove eligible records after their expiration time; deletion may take additional time.

Network services

The site uses hosting, Firebase account services and Google reCAPTCHA App Check when configured. These services can receive network and device metadata. Local OCR downloads Tesseract code and English recognition models from public distribution servers. Your scanned pages are processed locally.

Temporary data and exports

Documents remain in memory while you work. Clear document removes the app’s references to retained files and transaction records; refreshing or closing the page also clears them. JavaScript cannot guarantee secure erasure of browser memory. Downloads remain on your device until you delete them yourself.

Deletion and retention

Use the dashboard to delete your authentication account, profile, usage counters and reservations. Daily abuse counters expire separately. There is no server-side conversion history. Payment records, if enabled in a future release, may require separate statutory retention and an updated policy.
